Dragonflight patch 10.1 is coming and we’ve got the live countdown, release date, and more for this massive patch!
Like my favorite 90s rock group Ben Folds Five once sang: "We can be happy underground." World of Warcraft players will experience this notion for themselves when the Embers of Neltharion 10. 1 patch release goes live on Tuesday, May 2. With it comes a brand-new zone, cross-faction guilds, a new raid, and more. So here's your Dragonflight patch 10.1 schedule, launch date, and live countdown
Let's detail the various and see how the Dragonflight story will continue down below.
Dragonflight patch 10.1 countdown
The 10.1 patch is a major content drop for Dragonflight, and includes:
- New Zone: Zaralek Caverns – Gather your courage as you venture into this mysterious underground cavern.
- Cross-Faction Guilds: Players who have been enjoying Cross-Faction Instances now can join the same guild as their opposite-faction friends and benefit from conveniences like shared chat and guild repairs.
- Fyrrak Assaults: Fyrakk’s forces are gathering resources at Suffusion Camps located in the Azure Span and Ohn’ahran Plains. It’s up to the heroes of Azeroth to disrupt their efforts to lure Fyrakk and his disciples out.
- Meet New Allies: As the heroes of Azeroth pursue enemies into the dangers of Zaralek Cavern, they are aided by the local inhabitants found under the Dragon Isles — the molefolk known as “Niffen” and the Drogbar.
Obviously, the biggest new addition here is the cross-faction guild support. Long have players waited to reach across the aisle and work with the opposite faction, all with the benefits of guild life. However, don't sleep on just how important the new zone of Zaralek Caverns is and just how large this underground area is in comparison to past post-release zones.
