Want a new dragonriding mount? Well, the time is now to get your Winding Slitherdrake.

Looking for a new dragon mount? Is your old ride just not doing it for you anymore? Well, good news: The Embers of Neltharion update is live and with it comes a ton of new secrets to explore. The one that has players the most pumped is the reward from completing the Inherited Sin chapter, the Winding Slitherdrake mount.

This fifth mount is customizable in the same ways as the default Dragonriding mounts. However, this one is newer, which means it is obviously better. How do you get the new hotness? It's just going to take playing the video game, shockingly enough. Let's go over the basics.

Inherited Sin? Winding Slitherdrake? What do?

The Embers of Neltharion update contains seven story chapters and you'll need to finish the first five--A Creche Divided, Breaking Ground, Sundered Legacy, Ancient Bargain, and Inherited Sin. The Winding Slitherdrake mount is the reward for clearing these chapters. In all honesty, this just means progressing through the new chapters in a normal fashion. No secrets, no tricks. Just go play the game like you were already planning on doing.

The final step of the Inherited Sin chapter is a quest called Worst of the Worst. You'll know you finished it because it has you defeat an elite enemy named Overseer Xymra.

After completing Inherited Sin, the Winding Slitherdrake is yours for the taking. Based on the skeletal model for the Heart of the Aspects dragon mount, the Slitherdrake features a number of customization options for its long and lanky form. Honestly, it's a cool-looking mount and a fitting reward for such a large slice of new content.

What else is in-store for players in Embers of Neltharion? We'll know more on May 9 when the last chapter of the story releases, along with the Abberus, The Shadowed Crucible raid.
