Blizzard previews Dragonflight patch 10.0.7 with new zone, armor sets

Days removed from a big content update, Blizzard is here to detail the next Dragonflight patch, 10.0.7. Here’s the info you need.

We're only 24 hours removed from a major World of Warcraft patch and Blizzard is already on to the next one. The developer detailed the next Dragonflight patch, 10.0.7 in a blog update today, keeping up with the promise for more communication about the goings-on of WoW development.
What's coming down the pipeline? In addition to a (old) new zone for max-level players to explore, we'll also be seeing some new heritage armor sets, a renewal of the Recruit-A-Friend rewards, and a class getting more races.
Let's look at the various.

Dragonflight patch 10.0.7: The Forbidden Reach returns

The Forbidden Reach is the one zone on the Dragon Isles now accessible. Players may remember it from the Dracthyr starting zone, but then are quickly whisked away. In fact, if you currently try to return to the zone by flying you'll just get zapped to death by lightning.
Well, Chewie: we're going back! Dragonflight patch 10.0.7 will send players back to the zone after the defeat of Raszageth. The zone will include new lore, bosses, armor, and more. There's also rumor we'll be hearing more about the origins of the Dracthyr. What awaits players in this once forbidden area?

Orc and Human heritage armor

The heritage armor sets are either fantastic or kind of boring, depending on who you ask. Personally, I think they're wonderful nods to the game's past. But, in all honesty: Who are we to turn down new transmogs?
Well, wait no more, as the original Warcraft races get heritage gear in Dragonflight patch 10.0.7 to reflect their origins. These armor sets harken back to those RTS days, which includes giving human players the ability to cover their face and shame. After all, who plays an MMO just to pick the human class? What, is your favorite snack also a glass of water with a slice of white bread for dipping?

Monks and Friends

Good news for all six of you Monk players out there: New races will soon become available! Soon enough you'll be able to make a Goblin, Lightforged Draenei, or Worgen Monk. Honestly, imma slap a bandana on a Goblin and just start kicking people. Sounds fun.
And if you have some lapsed World of Warcraft friends then watch out: Recruit-A-Friend is getting another revamp. The service meant to reward players for tricking their friends into playing WoW again gets changed every few years to offer more current prizes.
No word yet on what those rewards will be, but you can read about the current offerings by clicking here.
Blizzard is starting to make WoW players feel spoiled with all this new and updated information. Now if they could just force Mythic+ groups to invite my crappy Hunter into groups.
Stay tuned to for more World of Warcraft news and notes.
