Tokyo gets to witness the greatness of VALORANT teams before Champs with VCT Pacific Stage 2 Finals.
The VCT Pacific Stage 2 Grand Finals Weekend will take place in Tokyo, Riot Games has announced on social media today. VCT Pacific Stage 2 is the final event of the season before VCT Champions and begins 2025.
VCT Pacific Stage 2 Grand Finals to take place in Tokyo
Riot Games has unveiled that VCT Pacific Stage 2 Finals weekend will take place in Tokyo. This is one of the four International Leagues that will take place after the Toronto Masters. The International League Stage 2 kicks off on July 12. The Playoffs begins August 16, and the culminating grand finals weekend on Aug. 30-31, will be held in Tokyo, Japan.
Riot revealed the roadmap for 2025 VALORANT esports last year. Kickoff is the first event of the year and starts on Jan. 11. The top teams from each Kickoff will qualify for Masters Bangkok. The second Masters takes place in Toronto in June.
After each Masters event, there is an International League. The first League takes place in March till May after the Bangkok Masters. The second League kicks off from July 12 soon after the Toronto Masters 2025.
VCT Stage 2 will feature four LAN Leagues, one for each region. No records from Stage 1 will carry over giving teams an opportunity at a fresh start. Four teams from each League will qualify for Champions. This includes the top two teams from the Stage. The other two slots are determined by Championship Points.

This is not the first time that Tokyo will host a VALORANT event. Tokyo hosted the Tokyo Masters in 2023 which saw a massive turnout with fans from all over the world tuning in. VALORANT fans were excited to read the venue announcement for the VCT Pacific Stage 2 finals.

VCT Champs 2025 takes place in Paris this year and will feature the very best VALORANT teams from all over the world. The recent VALORANT update 10.0 added a new agent - Tejo, who makes ample use of ballistic missiles to dominate the map. Tejo’s ultimate and other abilities give him large control over a particular area and gives strategic information to the entire team.
