The battle for a potential qualification into the Playoffs!
T1 Esports and Zeta Division will face each other during the VCT Pacific Stage 1. It is an important match for both teams that are trying to get into the top three of their respective group stage. The winner of this match stands a very good chance of qualifying for the playoffs. Here’s all we know about the T1 esports vs Zeta Division match.

The first map of Bind was an extremely close one, almost going to Overtime. Ultimately, Zeta Division esports the win but it was almost going to Overtime and the result could've been drastically different in this situation.
T1 started Bind with a few round victories early on but Zeta bounced back and how. Zeta Division secured five of the next six rounds to ensure that the first-half score was a 6-6. In the second half, Zeta started off with a win in the pistol round. However, they were not able to string together more than two rounds in a row which meant that they were not able to build a formidable economy. At the same time, neither could T1 esports, and Zeta's early lead in the second half allowed them to snatch victory from T1 esports.
Dep was the standout player for Zeta Division with 21 kills to his name. The others on the team also had commendable performances especially yuran with 18 frags.
The second map of Lotus was quite unlike the back-and-forth rounds on Lotus. T1 managed to win six rounds in a row which meant they were able to take an 8-4 lead in the first half. The second half saw both teams have a relatively even back-and-forth but T1's lead in the first half meant they were able to cruise through to victory to level the series.
The third map was Sunset and T1 esports managed an extensive defense on this map to lead them to Vicotry. The victory meant that they secured themselves the playoffs slot over Zeta Division. Zeta's fate depends on other in the Group Stage but they are most likely not able to make it through to the playoffs.

What to expect from this series?
T1 esports stands in 4th place in Group Alpha. The team has won just one match so far when it secured a 2-0 victory over Rex Regum Qeon. Besides this win, T1 has secured 1 map win over teams such as DetonatioN FocusMe and DRX. But the 0-2 loss to both Talon Esports and Paper Rex means T1 is struggling to get into the top three of Group Alpha.
On the other hand, we have Zeta Division which is in a very similar situation as T1 esports. Zeta is in 4th place with a 2-2 score. The team has won versus Bleed Esports and Global Esports, with some ingenuous performances and unique strategies. Zeta also comes into this match after a disappointing 0-2 loss against GenG.

The VALORANT Champions Tour Pacific 2024 Stage 1 is still in the group stage. The event will move on to the Playoffs starting May 3 when the top three teams from each of the groups advance to the next stage. The Playoffs have a unique hybrid elimination format. The knockout round is single elimination, but every match upper bracket semifinals is double elimination. Only the Lower bracket final and the Grand Final are best-of-five series. The top three teams from this event will qualify for VCT Masters Shanghai 2024 which takes place later this year.
