What is the tournament format?

The tournament uses a Hybrid Elimination format. Teams come into the LCQ and have seeding based on their performance through the regular Season.

The 6th and 7th seed teams compete in Round 1 having the lowest seeding. Round 1 is a single-elimination round and a loss here means the team is eliminated from the tournament.

The 3rd-5th seeded teams start from the Quarterfinals. The Quarterfinals are also single-elimination format.

The top two teams start in the upper bracket of the semifinals. These teams are relatively safer as every match from the Upper Bracket semifinal onwards is double-elimination. This means teams have at least two chances to prove themselves in the Last Chance qualifier.

All matches except the lower bracket finals and the Grand Finals are best-of-three series. These two series are best-of-five series.
