LGBTQ+ in VALORANT
So far, three LGBTQ+ characters have been confirmed in VALORANT. Raze and Killjoy made history as the game’s first openly queer couple, with their relationship officially confirmed by Riot in 2022. Lore enthusiasts had long speculated about their bond, but it wasn’t until nearly two years later that Riot made it canon, much to the joy of fans around the world.
When Clove was released, Riot also confirmed them as a non-binary character, further expanding VALORANT’s commitment to diverse and inclusive representation.
