The long-awaited VALORANT Premier mode is set for a Global Beta when the first-person shooter enters Episode 6 Act 3.

Riot Games revealed VALORANT Premier back in October. It will be the in-game competitive mode that gives players and teams a chance to prove that they're the best in their skill division. Brazilian players received an Alpha version to test the feature first. Now, Riot is readying VALORANT Premier for a Global Beta come Episode 6 Act 3.

The 2023 VALORANT Champions Tour has started strong with a competitive and action-packed LOCK//IN tournament. That is only the beginning of what Riot Games has planned for the year. With Masters Tokyo and Champions on the horizon, let's not forget about the game's Premier mode.

While the FPS is already in its sixth episode, there are no signs of slowing down. New maps, new Agents, and new modes are constantly coming to VALORANT. In fact, the latest Agent will be showcased at LOCK//IN and become available when Episode 6 Act 2 is here.

Then following that, when Episode 6 Act 3 arrives, players all around the world can take part in the VALORANT Premier Global Beta. The goal is for the players to help Riot Games in guiding VALORANT's competitive capabilities for years to come.

What the future holds

The VALORANT Premier Global Beta will be the start of the game's competitive future. Opportunities will be available for players everywhere, as Premier will eventually deliver a path to pro play. VCT Challengers will do away with qualifying tournaments and instead use the Premier mode as a team's way in.

For the very best, this could lead from Challengers to an International league, and then all the way to Champions. Try your hand at the mode, see if you have what it takes, and help provide valuable feedback during the Global Beta. Expect more information from Riot Games closer to Episode 6 Act 3.
