Raze gets quality-of-live visual update for abilities
Raze’s explosion VFX has been updated to more accurately indicate hitboxes for her Boom Bot and Paint Shells. Moreover, the visual effects will exist in the world for a shorter period, providing greater gameplay clarity.
As a result, you'll be able to see exactly where your abilities are hitting, making it easier to track impact and plan your next move!
Client Updates
Riot Games is looking to unify the PC and console versions of VALORANT. Some changes will be made in the interfaces to create a more consistent experience. This way, the company is aiming to reduce the time spent individually to make more things quickly. Here are some of the initial changes:
Console changes
- Page for navigating to specific content types has been removed.
- All content types (including Player Card and Sprays/Flex) are now available on the Collection page, matching the PC layout.
- Gamepad navigation system for the Collection page has been improved.
PC changes
- Level and Chroma indicators in weapon tiles have been removed.
- Minor layout updates.
Competitive Updates
For players below Radiant, Riot is increasing the cap of refunded RR that you can receive within an Act in the VALORANT patch notes 10.10. They are still monitoring edge cases around experiences with refunds.
If it has never happened to you, when a cheater is caught on the opposite team, they will be detected and banned, and the other players will be eligible for an RR refund.
Swiftplay
Icebox remains disabled in Deathmatch and Escalation while the Riot team resolves ongoing spawn-related issues. Tejo now starts Armageddon with three points instead of two, giving you more opportunities to use it during the match.
Although this change took effect in patch 10.09, the developers initially missed it in the notes. Moving forward, ultimates that require nine points will automatically scale as updates roll out.
- Armageddon starting points: 2 > 3
- Icebox remains disabled in Deathmatch and Escalation.

Bug Fixes
As usual, Riot Games solved some bugs that were affecting some agents in the VALORANT patch notes 10.10.
Omen
- Reverted a bugfix that was released in 10.08, which should fix the issue where dead allies spectating Omen could see through nearsights (most notably Viper’s ult) if Omen is using Dark Cover
- Reintroduced (and still investigating) the issue where Omen could not see properly when casting Dark Cover if he was overlapping another dense smoke (smokes that obscure vision inside, e.g., Jett Cloudburst, Brimstone Sky Smoke, etc.).
Vyse
- Fixed an issue where Vyse’s Arc Rose hit confirm would play when affecting non-players
- Fixed an issue where Vyse could no longer use Arc Rose for the remainder of the round if it was placed too close to the spike
Deadlock
- Fixed a bug where jumping could inconsistently dodge Deadlock’s net toss despite players being inside the affected area
Tejo
- Fixed an issue where Astra’s concuss always affected Tejo’s stealth drone as long as the drone had a line of sight to the concuss
- Fixed an issue where Tejo’s rockets could get hindered by Waylay’s saturate and Convergent Paths
Yoru
- Fixed an issue where Yoru’s flash visual decals would linger on walls they bounced off of
Brimstone
- Fixed an issue where Brimstone’s ultimate visuals drew underneath the map
