Pride Month is underway, and VALORANT is celebrating all forms of love with a new mural in Toronto, just ahead of the Masters tournament.

Pride Month is a special time to celebrate love, and VALORANT Americas has come up with a surprise for all the Masters Toronto attendees and visitors to the city. Strawberry, the artist behind the mural, shared some details about the process.

At 768 Queen Street West in Toronto, a vibrant new mural now brightens the cityscape, celebrating both Pride Month and the fifth anniversary of VALORANT. Created by artist Strawberry, a longtime member of the VALORANT community since its beta launch in 2020, the mural is a bold tribute to inclusivity, identity, and the game’s growing legacy. Its unveiling coincides with the kickoff of Masters Toronto, making it a timely and meaningful addition to the city's cultural and esports scene.

"Strawberry’s piece is a tribute to the joy, strength, and identity of the LGBTQIA+ community in gaming, esports, and everywhere else — blending iconic Toronto visuals with a great group of VALORANT agents," the announcement stated. You'll be able to see the mural throughout the whole month. If you can’t visit the mural in person, or love it so much that you want to see it on your devices daily, you can download it for your desktop or phone!

"Across North America, Brazil, and Latin America, our community shows us every day what it means to lead with heart, play with purpose, and show up with pride. We’re always recognizing and celebrating the LGBTQIA+ fans, players, artists, and competitors who make VALORANT what it is today, but this month specifically we’re celebrating louder and prouder than ever."

Behind the mural with Strawberry

In a conversation with Riot Games, Strawberry shared her creative process behind the mural. She spent time researching Toronto’s cultural background. "I wanted the mural to feel like a moment the agents captured while exploring or relaxing in Toronto," she said.

Her goal was to create a light-hearted and chill memory with the agents. Toronto’s creativity and artistic energy inspired her. She wanted the mural to reflect the true spirit of the city. This project also marked a personal milestone for Strawberry. "This is the first time my artwork has been painted as a mural," she revealed. "I’ve loved these agents for so long," she added. "Getting to work on this project was incredibly precious and dear to my heart."

Stawberry even shared that her favorite moments about VALORANT are the ones she shares with her friends. VALORANT is all about fun and silly moments. For her, Chamber's release was especially memorable, as she knew she was going to main him from the first trailer. You can check out more of Strawberry's work on X.
