VALORANT dataminers have found icons for the game’s replay system in the public version after update 10.02.
VALORANT players have been waiting for a replay system for a long time. Games like Marvel Rivals launched with one intact, leaving fans of the Riot Games FPS jealous and frustrated. Well, get ready, as icons for a replay system have been spotted in VALORANT after the 10.02 update.
Of course, take all of this with a grain of salt. Dataminers and leakers for the game, no matter how often they are proven correct, may not always be right. Developers could change anything at any given time, so call this speculation until it is official.
That doesn't mean you can't get excited, though!
Dataminers reveal the VALORANT replay system may finally be here
It is not uncommon for video game developers to put stuff in with a patch that isn't arriving for weeks, months, or even a year or so down the line. It's a good sign that the data is there, however, because that usually always means it is coming.
Prominent accounts like KOHTEIHEP and VALORANTLeaksEN did some digging after patch 10.02 went through. What did they find? A load of icons that will be used by players as they navigate the VALORANT replay system.
Here is a list of each icon revealed:
- Follow Cam
- Playhead Indicator
- Free Cam
- Previous Round
- Hide Replays
- Replay Settings
- Pause
- Skip Back
- Next Round
- Skip Forward
- Play

When is the replay system coming?
So, this is the important part. There is no information on when a replay system may actually arrive in VALORANT. It has been the talk of the game and the developers for years at this point. And they've always simply said they're working on one.
It's great to see these datamined files showing the buttons for the replay system UI have been added. That's definitely a start. So, we'll wait and see how long it actually takes before Riot Games acknowledges this and lets us finally have our replay system.
