VALORANT to bring back Bind with several changes at the start of Episode 6 Act III

VALORANT players can rejoice as Bind once again joins the map pool after receiving a slew of changes to its design.

Bind and Breeze were both taken out of the map pool as we saw Split and Lotus take their place. Now, VALORANT will bring Bind back into the fold with multiple changes to its layout. You can expect to see the map and its updates when Episode 6 Act III goes live on April 25.

Riot Games takes the competitiveness of VALORANT very seriously. From Agents to maps, the team makes constant changes to ensure competitive integrity and that every aspect of the game is as balanced as possible.

The Bind changes are the next step in creating an everchanging system that keeps VALORANT fresh. Below you will find before and after changes delivered by Riot Games. The A side of the map receives most of the overhaul, but there are a couple shifts near B to watch out for.

Significant update to A Teleporter and A Bath entrance

  • The original A Teleporter exit on Bind changes to a merchant stall
  • A Teleporter exit now sits at the wall directly adjacent to A Bath's Attacker side entrance

Before and after of A Bath interior and exit to A Site on VALORANT's Bind

  • A Bath's entrance from Bind's Attacker side is wider and the cubby wall is narrower
  • The doorway from A Bath onto A Site is wider

Changes to A Site wall near Tower and A Site back wall on Bind

  • The A Site wall near the Tower location is more open and a canister there can provide slight elevation
  • A Site's back wall near Defender Spawn is now straighter with less of an angle near the doorway and no jut between it and Tower

A Site crates adjustment

  • A Site's Radianite crates now have one stack side by side on the ground rather than top to bottom

Bind changes to B Hall doorway and B Elbow

  • B Hall's doorway to B Site is wider
  • The wall between B Site and B Elbow has an open vent, which potentially may allow utility to be thrown through
