VCT China team capsules will be even cheaper than other regions.

Masters Shanghai, the upcoming international event in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT), is just around the corner in late May. To help build momentum and help promote the VCT China (CN) teams, VALORANT has just added VCT CN team capsules to the game's shop as a part of the May 14 maintenance. And, the best part, they are even more affordable than the other team capsules.

VCT China team campusles added to VALORANT

VALORANT has just added team capsules for 11 of the Chinese VCT teams. These can now be purchased in the VALORANT shop alongside the other regions' capsules but at a discounted rate of 1,880 credits. This is nearly $5 cheaper than other regions, likely due to the lack of a player card in each bundle.

The VCT CN capsules include the following 11 teams:

  • All Gamers (AG)
  • Bilibili Gaming (BLG)
  • Dragon Ranger Gaming (DRG)
  • EDward Gaming (EDG)
  • FunPlus Phoenix (FPX)
  • JD Gaming (JDG)
  • NOVA Esports (NOVA)
  • Trace Esports (TE)
  • Titan Esports Club (TEC)
  • TYLOO (TYL)
  • Wolves Esports (WOL)

Each of these 11 teams competed in VCT 2024 China Stage 1, however, only EDward Gaming, FunPlus Phoenix, and Dragon Racer Gaming will be heading to Masters Shanghai after finishing in the top 3 in the region.

These capsules are live and can be purchased now if players have enough credits to get them. As with the other team's capsules, a portion of each purchase will go back to them. So, if you want to support your favorite Chinese VCT squad, this is a great way to do so.

You'll get to see these and several other teams from around the globe square off at Masters Shanghai starting on May 23. This major will feature a swiss stage for the bulk of teams, with the top from each region automatically getting a bye into the playoffs. Stay tuned here at esports.gg to see how it all plays out!
