What’s next?

TSM has announced its return to VALORANT with a roster revelation featuring some old players and some new faces. The announcement comes just hours before the start of the 2024 VALORANT Challengers season.

TSM has revealed last year it would make a comeback to VALORANT. It waited until the very last day of VCL NA 2024 to reveal its roster. But it is back and TSM fans can now rejoice as they have a team to support in the Challengers League.

The org signed the BackOutsideBoys and are set to compete in Ascension. TSM have received an invite to attend the VCL Ascension 2024.

The prolonged OFF//SEASON was a talking point in the community. With a lack of professional events and matches, the period of inactivity was not a welcome schedule for professional players. At the same time, Riot revealed slight changes to the 2024 season where matches would receive better distribution across the calendar year.

With twelve teams in the competition, TSM will have its task cut out. Most of the teams have proven themselves, either in the previous Challengers or have earned their spot via the qualifiers.

What is TSM’s VALORANT roster?

TSM’s VALORANT roster is as follows:

  • Johann "seven" Hernande
  • Tyler "sym" Porter
  • Anthony "gMd" Guimond
  • Kevin "poised" Ngo
  • Alex "aproto" Protopapas

The VCL NA 2024 kicks off on March 19 and will continue for almost a month. The Challengers event will end on April 19 with only the best teams surviving. The North American edition starts with 12 teams who compete in two groups of six teams each. They play best-of-three round-robin groups with the bottom team from each group facing relegation.

TSM’s first match is against M80 on March 20. It will be interesting to see how the team performs especially given the extremely late roster announcement.
