VALORANT has finally revealed its replay system, along with Tejo’s nerfs and new changes aimed at reducing ability overload in matches.

The moment everyone was waiting for: the replay system is finally coming to VALORANT this year. Not only that, but Tejo is being nerfed on patch 10.09. It is like the stars are aligning for us.

Replays in VALORANT

Unlike many other games, including those created by the same company, such as League of Legends, VALORANT does not currently have a replay system that allows players to rewatch their gameplay. However, after the community expressed a strong desire for this feature, Riot Games announced that they would be implementing it in the game. Anna Donlon, the Studio Head for VALORANT, confirmed that the replay system is coming in September. This is also in the same month as the VALORANT Champions Tour 2025 happening in Paris, France.

In patch 10.02, dataminers discovered icons intended for players to use while navigating the VALORANT replay system, such as the pause, the follow cam, and replay settings. With the replays, you'll now be able to rewatch your favorite plays.

Tejo nerfs

And because one good piece of news couldn't come alone, Ana also revealed that Tejo is finally getting nerfed. According to Riot Games (and the overall community), Tejo's rockets were too strong and "hard to counter." "We’re taking some of the fuel out of his rockets and bringing him more in line with other Initiators," Anna wrote. His changes are coming with patch 10.09.

On the overload of abilities, Anna admits that this is now a reality happening in the game, and it was especially exaggerated with Tejo's release. "Some of these changes will roll out throughout the year, with bigger changes planned post-Champs. We’ll talk to you more about what we’re thinking in that June video," Anna ended. We will have to wait for more information about these changes soon.
