Team Liquid roster for VCT 2023
Here's the full Team Liquid Roster for VCT 2023:
- Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen
- Dom "Soulcas" Sulcas
- Saif "Sayf" Jibraeel
- Ayaz "nAts" Akhmetshin
- Igor "Redgar" Vlasov
Despite letting go of star duo Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom and Nabil "Nivera" Benrlitom earlier this month, Team Liquid fielded one of the strongest rosters in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Team Liquid fans will be happy to see that Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen and Dom "Soulcas" Sulcas will be sticking around for another season. They will also be joined by former Guild Esports duelist Saif "Sayf" Jibraeel.

But the biggest piece of news from this announcement is that Team Liquid have at long last confirmed the acquisition of Igor "Redgar" Vlasov and Ayaz "nAts" Akhmetshin. The duo previously played for Gambit Gaming during the inaugural season of VCT 2021 — a season where they were one of the most dominant teams in the league. They were capped off by their win at the VCT 2021 Stage 3 Masters in Berlin and a second place finish at VCT 2021.
They were forced to rebrand themselves under the name M3 Champions for the 2022 season due to organization-related issues pertaining to Russia's ongoing invasion of Ukraine. Though they weren't as dominant last season, they were still a force to be reckoned with — narrowly missing out on qualification for Champions 2022 during the EMEA Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ).
The trio of nAts, Redgar, and Sayf bring quite a lot to the table for this Team Liquid roster. They bring plenty of technical ability and, more importantly, a solid in-game leader (IGL) in the form of Redgar, which Team Liquid have been in desperate need of recently.
Team Liquid fans will get their first look at their new team when they take the stage at the Red Bull Home Ground tournament. They certainly have a lot to look forward to for the 2023 VCT season.
