Will Heretics online have the same impact as offline?
The VCT Kickoff EMEA starts on February 20 and will continue for around 11 days ending on March 1. The inaugural league of the 2024 season takes place at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin, where eleven of the best EMEA teams will compete in person. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, Riot Games has granted Team Heretics an exemption on in-person attendance. Team Heretics will play online till the visa issues for one of their players find a resolution.

Team Heretics to compete online during VCT Kickoff EMEA
Team Heretics are one of the eleven participating teams at VCT Kickoff EMEA. The team is part of Group A, GIANTX, FUT esports, and Karmine Corp.
The team is scheduled to play the inaugural match of the Kickoff League against FUT esports on February 20. The group stage features a double-elimination GSL style format. Teams need to secure two victories to advance through to the Playoffs, which will have a single-elimination format.

The VCT Kickoff event marks the beginning of the 2024 esports season for VALORANT. Earlier this week, Riot Games also teased Team Capsules coming to VALORANT as soon as February 21. Team Capsules will enable organizations to unlock additional revenue streams, signaling a healthy esports ecosystem.
