Heretics managed to secure only a single round, as FNATIC’s Kajaak delivered a massive ace, one of the standout moments of this second international event. Team Heretics needed to regain some confidence and focus for the third match. Otherwise, they would lose the tournament right there.

This time, Team Heretics came in with renewed confidence and sharper gameplay. Wo0t delivered a standout performance, racking up 26 kills, the highest in the series. The team’s synergy was on point, with clean calls and decisive plays across the board. Despite the close scoreline, Heretics held strong and kept their tournament hopes alive.
Match 4
Just when Team Heretics were regaining some confidence and building their hope for a comeback, kaajak was not letting them dream. At 20 years old, the Polish player was just unbelievable in this tournament. FNATIC was slowly building up its victory, and Team Heretics were not in a good spot. The whole team was just feeling itself, and the crowd went crazy with it.
But after some time of rethinking their strategy, Team Heretics came out to the game differently. They turned the game upside down and just won it! We are going to game five.

With $500,000 on the line, both teams entered the final map with everything to play for. After two grueling losses and an incredible comeback, Team Heretics turned the series around and were crowned the VALORANT Esports World Cup 2025 champions. What a remarkable turnaround from Heretics, one for the history books!
