Riot Games releases “Fire Again” ahead of Valorant Champions 2022

Riot Games’ latest song “Fire Again” featuring Ashnikko has arrived to bring the hype for Valorant Champions 2022

VALORANT Champions 2022 is just around the corner and as such Riot Games has released a new song for the occasion; "Fire Again" featuring Ashnikko. The track and accompanying music video dropped on YouTube and social media on August 22nd, and quickly saw wide-spread acclaim. The song will be the official soundtrack for Valorant Champions 2022.

Fire Again brings the hype for Istanbul

Riot have been releasing music videos ahead of their big end-of-season tournaments for a number of years now; primarily for League of Legends' World Championships. Each time collaborating with various figures within the music industry. This song, made in collaboration with American singer Ashnikko, marks the second year that they have released one for Valorant; having previously collaborated with German DJ Zedd and American singer Grabbitz on their song "Die Again" for VCT Champions 2021.

The accompanying Music Video, which you can find above, shows off various locations within the game as well as some of the agents like Chamber and Raze. All of which serves to hype up the Valorant community ahead of the biggest tournament of the season.

Fire Again receives overwhelming praise from Valorant community

As is tradition with Riot's music videos, the Fire Again video features many prominent Valorant pros who will be taking part in the big end-of-season tournament. From the likes of Fnatic's Jake "Boaster" Howlett bursting through a ball of fire, to OpTic Gaming's Jaccob "Yay" Whiteaker unleashing a blade-storm, their is an endless amount of action occuring throughout this three minute video.

Unsurprisingly "Fire Again" has managed to take the Valorant community by storm following it's release. With many high profile figures chiming in on Twitter to voice their opinions on the song.
