Riot Games recently announced a list of more than 40 OFF//SEASON events spread across the world. One of those events, and one of the most anticipated events is the Red Bull Home Grounds. This time, it will take place in Tokyo, with thousands of fans in attendance. Here’s all we know about the event.

Red Bull Home Grounds Tokyo

Red Bull Home Grounds returns for its fourth edition this year and it is heading to Tokyo. After a very successful Tokyo Masters earlier this year, Japan is one of the most exciting places to be as a VALORANT fan. And even more exciting is the venue - The Sumo Arena Ryogoku Kokugikan.

Eight of the world’s best teams will compete in Tokyo. Six of these teams will receive direct invites and the remaining two teams will emerge from the Last Chance qualifier.

The Ryogoku Kokugikan features a seating capacity of around 10,000 and is one of the iconic places in Tokyo. Built in 1985, the huge stadium can house over 10,000 visitors and has been home to Sumo events, live performances, and even Olympic-grade boxing.

The tournament will be broadcast live on Twitch as well as YouTube

When will ticket sales go live?

Ticket sales will go live on September 27, 2023.

The last Red Bull Home grounds event saw 100 Thieves emerge as the winners after a dominating 3-0 victory over Cloud9. The event had a $100,000 prize pool and featured some of the best teams from all over the world. What is even more interesting, last time the Red Bull Home Grounds was the debut of several new rosters. With this year’s event taking place in November, well after VCT Champs’ conclusion, fans might be in for a treat with new rosters and changes.
