Expect a big shakeup in the VALORANT map pool as the rotation changes in June 24 with the Patch 11.00 update.

Pearl and Split are leaving the competitive map rotation in the VALORANT patch notes 11.00, much to the delight of their critics. Taking their place are a brand-new map and the return of Bind. Here is what we know about it so far.

VALORANT Patch 11.00 map pool rotation

The new map will be fully unveiled during the VALORANT Masters Toronto showmatch and will join the rotation alongside the returning Bind. While details remain under wraps, VALORANT's official X page has been teasing the map with short cryptic videos. One of the clues, coordinates shared by Riot Games, leads to Normandy, in northern France. The castle featured in the teasers closely resembles Mont-Saint-Michel, hinting at the new map’s likely inspiration.

After the mission, you can rewatch the cinematic "Why We Fight," released two weeks ago, before the crew moves on to another mission. As Astra mentioned in an email, "while she [Killjoy] rests," the team is following the coordinates for the next location. Phoenix was not originally going, but he changed his mind at the last minute to assist the crew. If you are a lore enthusiast, the VALORANT lore panel will host a special live session at the VALORANT Masters Toronto Press Stage. This allows fans to ask questions and hopefully clarify some of their theories.
