Can Bleed win another match – their final one of the group stage.

Paper Rex has continued its dominant streak over Bleed Esports after a win in the VALORANT Champions Tour Pacific 2024: Stage 1 - Group Stage. They scored the victory in their final match of the group stage catapulting them to the top two position in the group. The outcome of the group might still depend on other teams’ performance, but Paper Rex’s masterclass definitely makes them a favorite to go through to the playoffs.

The match between Paper Rex and Bleed was an exciting match to look forward to. Paper Rex is one of the strongest teams on paper, while Bleed Esports has some big names but has a lot of catching up to do when it comes to their results.

The series kicked off with Ascent and Bind as the first two maps. The final map was Lotus, but with a 2-0 victory, the teams never got to play the map. Paper Rex started Ascent with a bang winning the first five maps on the defense. D4v41 was on point when it comes to the performance ending the first map with an impressive 22 kills. With a 335 ACS score, he was leading the charts on Ascent. There were standout performances on both teams with Retla and sScary stepping up for Bleed. Unfortunately, Bleed simply could not secure enough rounds on the attacking side to give them a chance on the map.

The second map of Bind was a much better performance by both teams. Bleed had five rounds on the attacking side ending the first half with a 5-7 score. Unfortunately, this time, their defense was not up to mark which means that they ended the map with a similarly depressing 6-13 score. Despite having some big names on their VALORANT roster including the likes of Yay and Zest, Bleed have been unable to get any interesting victories going on for them.
