VALORANT has released new stats on the most-picked agents across all regions in Stage 2, with Omen leading the pack.

VALORANT pro players have agreed that Omen is one of the strongest agents in the game, turning him into the most picked agent across all regions. Riot Games revealed the pick rate data for Stage 2, which ended on August 31, 2025. Only three players stand out.

Omen is the most picked agent internationally

Across VALORANT’s Tier 1 scene, all four major regions, China, Americas, Pacific, and EMEA, seem to agree on one thing: Omen is one of the strongest agents in the game. The controller dominated the pick rates, appearing in 86% of matches in China, 80% in EMEA, 78% in the Americas, and 74% in the Pacific.

The battle for the second-most picked agent, however, splits the regions. In China (52%) and EMEA (54%), Sova emerged as the preferred choice. Meanwhile, in the Americas (59%) and the Pacific (56%), Viper reigned supreme. The same happens for the third place. In China, Viper was picked in 50% of the games, and in EMEA 46%. For the remaining regions, Sova appeared with the same percentage: 51%.

Stage 2 was dominated by Controllers. While some players believe Omen is one of the most balanced agents in the game, others demand buffs to the remaining Agents, especially Astra and Harbor.

VCT Stage 2 viewership

The viewership statistics vary across different regions. For instance, the VCT EMEA experienced an increase in peak audience numbers from 199,788 in 2024 to 274,774, according to the Esports Charts. The most-watched series was BBL vs Team Liquid at the Upper Bracket Finals.

In contrast, VCT Americas saw a decline in viewership. The region’s peak dropped from 394,975 in 2024 to just 295,084 in 2025. Much of the audience that remains can be credited to the Brazilian community, with LOUD featuring in four of the five most-watched matches. Once again, they have proven their massive influence on the region’s numbers.

On the other hand, the VCT Pacific has experienced a continuous growth in peak viewership. It went from 332,089 in 2024 to 426,912 in 2025. The community has been showing a lot of interest in the region in the last year. This can be explained by the incredible performances the Pacific teams have been delivering internationally. It's important to remember that both Masters this year went to Pacific teams: T1 (Masters Bangkok) and Paper Rex (Masters Toronto).

Finally, the VCT China has stabilized in terms of viewership, going slightly down from 39,601 in 2024 to 37,537 this year. Even with less viewership than the remaining regions, China keeps attracting more international viewers as the average viewership more than doubled from 5,027 to 10,555.
