Omen is temporarily disabled from all queues due to a bug with his Dark Cover ability. No more surprise intel for now.

After the Wolves Esports coach shared an Omen bug on X, VALORANT announced that the game would be removing Omen from all queues until the problem is fixed. They expect it to be solved by tomorrow.

VALORANT Omen bug

Wolves Esports' Hoc Wah "Fayde" Chong shared a video of an Omen bug on X, which occurred during his Dark Cover ability. While using it, Omen was able to see the enemy team and hear their footsteps, giving privileged information to his teammates. He could even fly above the map like he was in ghost mode, like the one you can use in custom games to test new agents, line-ups, and maps.

A few days later, Riot Games answered this post, announcing that Omen would be disabled from all queues to ensure this bug was fixed. "We'll be disabling him starting from 5h15 p.m. PT until further notice," they wrote on X. They expect the issue to be solved soon, so we are going to keep you updated on that. Many fans were taking fun out of the situation, saying this is "very accurate" with Omen's lore.

If you are an Omen main and need other controllers to play as, then Astra, Brimstone, Clove, Viper, and Harbor are still available. In March, Reyna was also disabled due to a bug with her Devour ability, where her overheal wouldn't update properly.
