The first official off-season Valorant event of the year kicks off with four teams battling it out for a $50,000 prize pool.

The first Valorant official off-season event of 2023 is here. The Ludwig x Tarik Invitational will feature some of the best Valorant teams competing to claim the first trophy of the year and for a part of the $50,000 prize pool. Accompanying the high stakes of Valorant competition will also be a showmatch between Team Offline TV and Mogul Moves. Here are the Ludwig Tarik Invitational scores, format, schedule, and more.

Where to watch Ludwig x Tarik Invitational?

The Ludwig x Tarik Invitational will be live-streamed on Ludwig’s YouTube channel as well as Tarik’s Twitch page. 

Starting on on January 14 and continuing for two days the tournament will bring back top-tier Valorant competition for fans.

What is the tournament format?

All matches excerpt one are in the best-of-three format. The upper bracket final is a Bo1 match. This format ensures the teams are matched up evenly against each other.

The tournament will also use a double-elimination format with teams that lose two matches finding themselves out of the tournament. 

In the opening matches, T1 will face The Guard while Sentinels will go up against TSM in the other Upper bracket match.

Participating Teams

The Ludwig x Tarik Invitational will feature four Valorant teams with the list including two orgs that have already secured their VCT franchise spot. The remaining two teams are also strong competitors and can pose a real challenge. With most of the teams undergoing roster change in the VCT off-season, this tournament will be a true test for some of the new rosters out there.
