Diavolos introduces four players for its VALORANT Mobile team, even though the game hasn’t been officially launched yet.

Japan-based esports team Diavolos, best known for its Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) lineup, has recently announced its roster for the upcoming VALORANT Mobile. Diavolos has introduced itself as the world’s first VALORANT Mobile team, which is highly likely to be true, considering that the game has not yet launched.

The VALORANT Mobile roster, revealed on October 1 on X (Twitter), features MauN, Banken, Dora, and Gucchi as the main players. Each member brings extensive experience in popular FPS and Battle Royale mobile titles, including Apex Mobile, Standoff 2, PUBG MOBILE, Arena Breakout, and Critical Ops.

The daring move marks Diavolos' second competitive division after CODM, reflecting the organization's focus on mobile shooter games. Diavolos’ CODM team recently claimed victory at the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2024 Stage 4 Grand Final, securing their place as Japan’s sole representative for the prestigious Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2024.

The community views this move as the team's strong commitment to start early and build chemistry. Some, however, consider it risky to finalize a roster for a game that is yet to be published. Despite the uncertainty, fans eagerly await Diavolos' roster's performance.

For those who are curious, Diavolos players have reached the highest rank, Radiant, during the current CBT phase. They can be seen streaming VALORANT Mobile regularly on their respective YouTube channels:

Riot Games has yet to confirm VALORANT Mobile's release date, though sources speculate a launch between late 2024 and mid-2025. Reports suggest the game is currently in its closed beta testing (CBT) phase, available for a limited time on China servers.
