Global esports map pick: Split

Split was Global epsorts' map pick. But the team failed to produce any reliable performance on the first half. They won the pistol round but then lost the immediate one to Vitality's force buys. There was a visible difference in the skill level of the two teams. Global esports would often offer many 1v1s and without backup, it would result in easy single duels for the higher-skilled Vitality players.

Eventually, it was a relatively easy win for Vitality as they moved on to their own map pick of Pearl

Ultimately, Global esports' defense was ironclad. Ayrin used to be the shotcaller on XSET only on one half - the defense and his expertise on the defense showed up massively on Global Esports. Global esports won Pearl despite clearly not being the favorites on the map after the destruction on Map 2.

Lotus - The decider

The final map of Lotus was a masterclass by Vitality. The team continued to punish unenforced errors by Global Esports.

Global esports won the pistol round, their sixth pistol in the three-map series. But after reaching three rounds, Global Esports had no reply for Vitality's aggression. Vitailty played a methodical game and they were able to continually reduce Global esports' flanks and performance. The reads were spot on and their aim was spot on as well.
