For the first time ever, three Game Changers teams have qualified for Challengers, with Team Liquid Brazil, SRG, and KRÜ Blaze making history.

Team Liquid Brazil joins Shopify Rebellion Gold (SRG) and KRÜ Blaze as the first Game Changers teams to qualify for Challengers, marking a historic moment for squads that have long pushed their way toward a more inclusive competitive stage.

Team Liquid Brazil joins the Challengers 2026: Brazil

On April 8, Team Liquid Brazil secured their place in Challengers 2026: Brazil Stage 2 for the first time, completing a flawless run through the access series. They swept past Team Gaseous, Remo Esports, and Paysandu Esports without dropping a single match.

In the Grand Final against Paysandu Esports, they showcased their resilience and talent, securing a 2–1 victory to cap off their historic run. Following their first international title at the 2025 VALORANT Game Changers Championship Seoul, the team has cemented its place among the region’s top contenders.

History for Game Changers

In March, both KRÜ Blaze and Shopify Rebellion Gold found success in their respective regions. SRG returned to Challengers North America, while KRÜ secured qualification for Challengers LATAM South ACE for the first time.

Unfortunately for SRG, they have already been eliminated from the tournament. They ended their run with four losses against QoR, Pigeons, SaD Esports, and ROSE.

In Latin America, the story is even more remarkable for KRÜ. The organization placed both of its rosters in Challengers — Blaze from Game Changers and Spark, their academy squad. Adding an extra twist, KRÜ Spark actually knocked KRÜ Blaze down to the Lower Bracket after defeating them in the Upper Bracket Final.

This is the first time that three Game Changers teams have qualified for Challengers in the same year. It marks a major milestone for the women’s and inclusive competitive scene.

Thanks to the Path of Champions, which gives teams from Challengers a route to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2026, there’s now a real possibility of seeing both Team Liquid Brazil and KRÜ compete on the international stage against the best teams in the world.
