Bren Esports likewise announced on Wednesday the departure of the entire roster, via a post on their official Facebook page. According to Bren, the squad had decided to "review other possible opportunities". True enough, the news that they had joined Team Secret followed just a day later.

The newly-minted Team Secret Valorant roster found plenty of success in their home region of Southeast Asia, qualifying for the Valorant Stage 3 Masters tournament in Berlin, Germany. They did this by placing first overall in the SEA leg of Valorant Challengers, where they swept Singapore-based Paper Rex three games to none in the grand finals. This result confirmed ex-Bren as the official SEA representatives at Masters Berlin — but they were eventually disqualified from the tournament due to visa issues. Following this development, Riot Games then announced that Paper Rex would replace Bren Esports in Germany.
Despite this unfortunate setback, it is clear that they've made a serious name for themselves in the Valorant scene. Getting a contract offer from Team Secret is no small feat, and may just be what they need in order to elevate their skill level going forward.
Though they will miss their chance to prove themselves on an international level at this time, signing with a big organization is likely to ensure that they will find similar opportunities to cut their teeth in the very near future. It should prove quite exciting to follow their progress over the coming months.
The Team Secret Valorant roster is as follows:
- Jessie Cristy "JessieVash" Cuyco
- Jayvee "DubsteP" Paguirigan
- Jim "BORKUM" Timbreza
- Kevin "Dispenser" Te
- Riley "witz" Go
- Gilbert "Gibo" Sales Jr. (coach)
