Twitch Rivals is hosting one of the first competitive VALORANT console tournaments. The event will see console players pick up their controllers, stream their perspectives, and battle it out in the Riot Games first-person shooter for their share of a hefty prize pool.

It was a one day tournament for the North American region. You can tune on Friday, July 26, 2024 at a start time of 2 p.m. PDT.
VALORANT Console Twitch Rivals format and prize pool
The tournament is broken down into two stages, played on PS5 or Xbox Series X/S. The first stage is a Round Robin format, with the second stage being the Grand Final and Consolation Final. Here are the rules:
First Stage: Round Robin
- 5v5 matches
- 3 Rounds (each team plays every other team)
- Ranked by W-L record
- Tiebreakers
- Three-way tie
- Head-to-head Match Series
- Teams with two matchup head-to-head advantage automatically receives first of the group. Tie-breakers for the remaining two teams are determined using the above head-to-head tiebreaker process.
- If no team has a two matchup head-to-head advantage (in example, all Teams are 1-1 head-to-head), then proceed to next step of the 3-way tie-breaker process.

- Seeding based on First Stage

- Game Options: Allow Cheats On
- Teams are allowed a pause only for Disconnections of a player. Each team is in charge of enabling this option during the game in the in-game menu option.
- In case any other setting is touched and affects the gameplay, the team will be penalized with a Forfeit.
- Overtime: Win by Two Off
- Play Out All Rounds Off
- Hide Match History Off
