The VCT Spotlight Series Americas brings together four mixed-gender teams to showcase competitive VALORANT during the OFF//SEASON.

The main VALORANT Champions Tour season is not the only place you can catch pros in action. There is a lengthy OFF//SEASON period with tons of events. You've got Game Changers, Red Bull Home Ground, and the upcoming VCT Spotlight Series Americas.

We've seen Spotlight Series tournaments in other regions, but this special event takes to the Riot Games arena in Los Angeles. That's the home of VCT Americas, and Americas teams from the VCT and GC are banding together for some VALORANT competition.

Let's go over the details!

The first weekend in December is when this tournament takes place. It is a LAN event at the Riot Games Arena in LA, broadcasting live from December 6 - 8.

Participating teams

As it stands, there are four teams with a mix of VCT and GC pros. Two teams are blended while two simply put together players from their organization in both leagues. Here are the teams:

  • Cloud9 x Shopify Rebellion
  • FlyQuest RED x Leviatán
  • G2 Esports x G2 Gozen
  • MIBR x MIBR GC

Some of the Shopify core were famously a part Cloud9 White in the early days of VALORANT Game Changers. Then we have G2 teaming with their extremely successful GC squad. FlyQuest joins forces with LEV, and MIBR's two teams get together to try and make some magic.
