Here’s everything to know about the NA VALORANT Console Open.

After an action-packed inaugural event in January, Erena and Riot Games have announced the second rendition of the North American (NA) VALORANT Console Open with a $10,000 prize pool. The event is open to all eligible players and will exclusively take place on the console version of VALORANT.

On top of promising more fierce competition, the event will celebrate VALORANT’s five-year anniversary with themed Bounty prizes.

What is the NA VALORANT Console Open?

The NA VALORANT Console Open is a tournament where all NA VALORANT console players can compete! Whether you are a VALORANT console export or have never played VALORANT on console before, all players can compete both for placement prizing and Bounties for a total prize pool of $10,000!

Who can play?

The event is open to all players in the U.S., including Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Canada. Players must be at least 13 years old and play the event on a console (Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5).

How can I sign up?

Teams can register using the event’s start.gg page. Players must register as a complete team of five. The first player of a team must invite their team members who will then complete their own registration. Players who are looking for teammates can connect using the dedicated channel in the event’s Discord server.

Teams must complete registration by May 16, 2025 at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT).

When is the NA VALORANT Console Open and what is the format?

The first day of competition begins on May 16, 2025 at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT). Days 1 and 2 will feature all registered teams in an open double-elimination bracket. The double-elimination bracket will feature best-of-1 (Bo1) matches until four teams remain. 

The third and final day of competition will take place on May 18, 2025 at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT). Day 3 will feature the top four teams from the double-elimination bracket in a closed, single-elimination bracket with best-of-3 (Bo3) matches to determine the champion! The four teams on Day 3 will also be competing for the Bounty awards.

What is the prize pool?

The total prize pool for the NA VALORANT Console Open is $10,000! Placement prizing totals to $8,000. The following prizes will be awarded to each team, divided equally among all starting players, based on placement at the conclusion of the event:

  • 1st - $2,500
  • 2nd - $1,500
  • 3rd - $1,000
  • 4th - $1,000
  • 5th - $500
  • 6th - $500
  • 7th - $500
  • 8th - $500

Additional prizes, called Bounties, will be awarded for the following achievements based on Day 3 performances:

  • Event MVP: $500
  • Best K/D: $250
  • Best Gameplay Clip: $250
  • Best Original Agent Performance: $100 per agent (Breach, Brimstone, Cypher, Jett, Omen, Phoenix, Raze, Sage, Sova, Viper)
