Disguised makes DSG yay a reality by signing El Diablo

Everyone get used to DSG yay, as El Diablo has put the pen to paper and signed with the Disguised VALORANT roster.

What started as an April Fool's Joke has actually come to fruition. Disguised (DSG), the independent esports organization formed by Jeremy "Disguised Toast" Wang, has signed free agent VALORANT player Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker. El Diablo is on his way to VALORANT Challengers NA.

It is no secret that yay is regarded as one of, if not the best VALORANT player in the world. From his time with Andbox, onto Team Envy, and then the acquisition by OpTic Gaming, yay has been an unstoppable beast. His presence in the server has earned him the nickname El Diablo.

We're talking about a player with five Top 2 placements in international VALORANT events since August 2021. His hopes were to continue his dominance as a part of Cloud9 after OpTic Gaming's VALORANT roster dissolved due to not making the partnership program for 2023.

While the majority of his former team moved to NRG, yay seemingly found himself out of place. After VCT LOCK//IN, he was suddenly no longer a part of VCT Americas 2023 after exiting Cloud9. That led to many questions regarding El Diablo's future.

Well, we have an answer to those questions. After just over a month of free agency, Disguised has signed the superstar fragger. The apparent joke tweet from April 1 was no joke at all, and DSG yay will look to carry the Disguised VALORANT roster through the next split of NA Challengers.

With the removal of Drake "Exalt" Branly back in March, and the addition of yay, Disguised now consists of:

  • Joseph "clear" Allen
  • Amgalan "Genghsta" Nemekhbayar
  • Joshua "steel" Nissan
  • Damion "XXiF" Cook
  • Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker
  • Chris "riku" Piasecki (Substitute)
