CLG announced their new VALORANT Game Changers roster, comprising of the old TSM X core. The team is called CLG Red.
Counter Logic Gaming revealed their new CLG Red VALORANT Game Changers roster that will be participating in the VCT Game Changers series in North America. The roster has almost completely changed, with only Han "itnothan" Nguyen remaining from the original lineup.
Ex-TSM X and VersionX players join CLG
To replace the old members of the roster, CLG has signed the core of ex-TSM X players to the team. Emily "mleqt" Peters, Mirna "athxna" Noureldin, and Karnthida "dodonut" Chaisrakeo are all now a part of CLG Red. These players were best known for their time on TSM and their performance there.
In 2022, TSM X managed to consistently make it to the playoffs stage at VCT GC NA. In GC series one, they managed a top-six placement. Later in GC series two, they came in the top four, and the third time around at GC series three, they finished top eight.
As for the final player on the roster, emluo, of Version X fame is joining the roster. They are a flex player who fills in the initiator role mostly in-game, but also played some Chamber while the French agent was at his peak.
The team is also keeping the same coach, Josh "shinobi" Abastado, who has worked for teams like Cloud9 and Global Esports in the past.

The original CLG Red was also a team that found moderate success in the Game Changer events in North America. They placed fourth in GC series one, failed to qualify for the playoffs of GC series two, then once again faced an exit before the playoffs stage in GC series three.
The team released all their players except for itnothan towards the end of last year.
The new team rebuild comes ahead of Game Changers North America 2023, which the team will be playing.
