The ultimate NA vs EMEA battle at LOCK//IN
The two teams last met in the group stage of Champions 2022, where Fnatic mustered enough strength to eliminate their NA rivals from the tournament. And it is fair to say that Both teams have been through the wars at the LOCK//IN tournament thus far. 100 Thieves have managed to hold off impressive displays from EDward Gaming and FUT Esports in their previous two matches. With many starting to question the strength of the North American giants.
Fnatic on the other hand have put on a mixed display of performances on their quest for glory at the LOCK//IN. Though they brushed past Sentinels with relative ease in their first match of the Omega Bracket, they faced a grueling challenge against FURIA in their second match. This promises to be a true NA vs EMEA clash here at LOCK//IN. Only time will tell who triumphs this time around.

Fnatic rip 100T apart on Fracture
The games begin with a trip to Fracture for Map 1, curtesy of 100 Thieves. Fnatic take a very nervy pistol round win to kickstart proceedings. The teams trade blows across the next few rounds, but Fnatic come out on top with a 5 - 1 lead. 100 Thieves try to rally back in off of an early timeout only to be met with a wall of Ultimates and utility from Fnatic. And they continued to pile on the pressure against their opponents as their lead continues to grow. Fnatic take an overwhelming 11 - 1 lead into halftime.
It was going to take a miracle for 100 Thieves to get back into their map pick. And, unfortunately, that miracle did not present itself. Leaving Fnatic to close out Fracture 13 - 1 and a well-earned 1 - 0 lead in the series. Fnatic Initiator Leo, who was getting to play on the LOCK//IN stage for the first time at this event after clearing COVID protocols, finished the map with an outstanding 1.94 KDR with 18 kills and 3 deaths.
Fnatic stave off late resurgence from 100 Thieves on Icebox
After a near-flawless performance from Fnatic in Fracture, we head to Icebox for Map 2. Fnatic take the opening pistol round as they look to continue their streak from Map 1. 100 Thieves' struggles continue to show in this match as Fnatic's lead increases to 5 - 0. 100 Thieves manage to get a round win on the board, yet it looks like nothing but a speed bump for Fnatic as the lead grows to 8 - 1. Though 100T manage to win another round they remain a side seemingly lost in space, whereas Fnatic look a class above their rivals. Evident by their 10 - 2 lead after the first half.
100 Thieves manage to win the first three rounds of the second round as they begin to claw their way back into the game. It looks as though they have found their second win in this series as the lead dwindles to 11 - 6. Just when things start to look scary for Fnatic, Leo comes up with a big play to put his team on match point at 12 - 8. But 100 Thieves stabilize once more in this half to 12 - 10. With Fnatic coming into round 23 with a very light purchase it felt as though Overtime was beckoning for 100 Thieves. But Derke and Alfajer go huge for Fnatic at the end to win Icebox 13 - 10 and the series at 2 - 0.
