100 Thieves is set to exit the VALORANT Game Changers circuit just nine months after entering the competitive scene.
100 Thieves have officially announced their hiatus from the Game Changers circuit. The team joined in August 2025, and nine months later, they confirmed the pause of the program.
100 Thieves leaves Game Changers
Sean Gares, Head of FPS at 100 Thieves, said the organization put “a lot of care” into the Game Changers program and that the decision was not made lightly. “This one genuinely hurts,” he wrote on X. “We love Game Changers, and we love the players in this space. We will be evaluating what a return looks like and hope to find our way back in a way that makes sense for everyone involved.”
One of the key players of the team, Lydia “lidyuh” Wilson, also commented on the hiatus. “Breaks my heart to see something that I poured so much time and effort into being broken down like this,” she said. “I have nothing but positives to say about the organization.”

Debut and results
The organization debuted in the Game Changers circuit on August 4, 2025. They placed 5th–6th in the VCT 2025: Game Changers North America Stage 2 after being defeated by Kiri Magenta. Later, they also competed in the NRG Neon Dream Invitational, but again fell short of strong results.
The 2026 season initially looked promising, as the team managed to qualify for the Kickoff. However, they were eliminated before reaching the top four after being defeated by Blue Otter GC. They later qualified for Stage 1, but following this announcement, the team has entered an indefinite hiatus.

For fans of the Game Changers team, a hiatus does not necessarily mean the end of the project. However, the roster will not be competing in the near future. We may have clearer answers about the team’s future in the coming months.
