A new Descendant, Dungeon, and more are coming in First Descendant Season 1.
The First Descendant has revealed its inaugural season, complete with a new sniper Descendant, new bosses, weapons, and more.
The First Descendant has finally entered its first proper season of content, with the trailer for Season 1, dubbed Invasion. The new trailer dropped on Friday, before Nexon decided to just open the floodgates of information and drop all the spicy details about the brand-new content hitting the game on August 20. The First Descendant Season 1 reveals a new character, Hailey
The trailer's cheeky, quite literally, beginning introduces players to the arctic-themed Descendant Hailey, a long-range sniper in a sleek-white bodysuit on par with the game's sleek futuristic designs. This would suggest the game falling into the well-trod path of hero games releasing a single new character for every season's worth of content.
New Invasion Dungeon mechanic
Invasion dungeons are a mechanic that will occur spontaneously in existing dungeons. When an Invasion Dungeon appears, players will have the chance to swap to an Invasion dungeon instead. These reward fast clears with much more powerful loot.

Ultimate Freyna
Along with Invasion dungeons comes an Ultimate version for Freyna. We got a sneak peek at her green and black outfit, but no footage of what her unique abilities will entail. Other aspects announced and previewed include a new assault rifle and a scout rifle, as well as a new boss dubbed Deathstalker. Essentially a Colossus on steroids, it sounds like it will be straight out of a Souls-like swamp zone with poison and DoT mechanics. She'll join Descendants like Ultimate Bunny as the premium upgraded characters.

- Invasion Dungeons: super-charged dungeons that interrupt your normal dungeons, giving you the option to abandon your current run and do a timed clear for greater rewards.
- Ultimate Freyna: Freyna, the third-unlocked character for most players, will be getting an Ultimate version with unique abilities.
- New Boss, Deathstalker: A supercharged Colossus with poison mechanics.
- New Guns: The Excava - Assault Rifle, Frost-Watcher - Scout Rifle.
