This update brings some changes to move sets, bug fixes, and new items to the TEKKEN Shop.

After a couple of earlier TEKKEN 8 updates (1.04 and 1.05), this patch doesn't feel like a big one. Following the promise to keep the balance generally untouched, the developers mainly addressed some behavior issues: common and character-related. Still, these fixes also adjust moves’ properties and directly affect how you play some characters and how you play against them. Here are full TEKKEN 8 patch 1.07 notes and a brief overview of the most important updates.

Character changes in TEKKEN 8 patch 1.07

Despite really not touching the game balance, TEKKEN 8 update 1.07 makes significant behavior changes for some characters. You should be aware of them if you play them. Serious players should know the changes even for their potential opponents.

Here are some updates to pay attention to:

  • Bryan: fF+3 — It is possible to defend against it with a reversal move.
  • Feng: d+2; db+1+2,2 — The hurtboxes are bigger, so there are smaller risks of whiffing these moves.
  • Hwoarang: bu+3 — The move has bigger downward hitboxes to make whiffs less common.
  • Jack-8: df+4 — The distance from the opponent is different now for a successful counter-attack.
  • Kazuya: 4~3 — Floor break happens only on the last hit.
  • King: uf+3+4 — Extended hurtboxes fix low whiffs.

  • Raven: D during Soulzone — The move is easier to execute thanks to an adjusted input window.
