The most recent fixes for TEKKEN 8 Season 2 got a cautiously positive response, at least from the pro community. It’s the first time this version is played on a big esports stage.

Big changes have been shaking up TEKKEN 8 recently, and they are not too positive. The latest adjustments somewhat saved the situation. We can witness how the game community recovers from the disastrous transition to Season 2. Top-level esports tournaments are an important part of this process.

TEKKEN World Tour 2025 started two weeks ago at Evo Japan 2025. After this event, the game received a pretty big patch. TEKKEN 8 presents itself with these fresh changes at Combo Breaker 2025.

In addition to the showcase of the current meta and mechanics, the tournament includes two important qualifiers: for the TWT 2025 and for the TEKKEN 8 Esports World Cup 2025. The high stakes attracted the best players from all over the globe.

Fahkumram, the new TEKKEN 8 DLC character, will be presented at Combo Breaker 2025. After a short reveal, people were somewhat annoyed with this choice of the next fighter. May the gameplay trailer change their opinion?

Results: TEKKEN 8 at Combo Breaker 2025

However great and exciting a tournament TEKKEN 8 Evo Japan 2025 was, it lacked a huge competitive aspect: the presence of Pakistani players. Arslan Ash couldn’t get his visa. ATIF and other strong competitors couldn’t travel due to a conflict between Pakistan and India that intensified during those days.

Combo Breaker 2025 represents the world of TEKKEN better. Pakistani and Korean people are here. Sure, the US representatives are not going to give up because of big names in the pools and brackets.

The top 8 brackets were filled with TEKKEN legends! ATIF brought the newest DLC character, Anna Williams, to such a top-level play. He fell into the losers side after a match vs Mulgold, though. The losers quarterfinal was an epic clash of Pakistani players, ATIF vs Arslan Ash, and a family battle between two sisters, Anna vs Nina. ATIF on Anna won it quite confidently.

Knee looked great, and he is not going to slow down after the Evo Japan 2025 win. On Bryan, Knee reached the winners final but then was stopped by another Korean player. For Mulgold, that looked like the final tough obstacle on the way to victory.

In the grand final, ATIF could not do much against Claudio of Mulgold. Switching to Dragunov in game 3 did not help. Mulgold is the TEKKEN 8 Champion at Combo Breaker 2025!

In addition to the TWT 2025 points distribution, four players from the top 8 qualified for the TEKKEN 8 Esports World Cup 2025: EDGE, Arslan Ash, Rangchu, and LowHigh.
