It’s a Special Round of TEKKEN 8 Fight Pass — to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the series and the first year since the TEKKEN 8 release.
The newest update of TEKKEN 8 starts the next Fight Pass Round. It’s the only big thing in the TEKKEN 8 Patch 1.12. The official Patch Notes say that the balance adjustments have been postponed due to soon-coming big tournaments in Europe and Japan. However, getting TEKKEN 30th Anniversary Fight Pass totally compensates for this. This Round is truly special!

TEKKEN 8 Fight Pass: 30th Anniversary
This Special Round of TEKKEN 8 Fight Pass is shorter, cheaper, and it has more rewards in free tiers.
- TEKKEN 30th Anniversary Fight Pass is already available in the game. It's active up to March 31.
- There are 30 tiers to unlock.
- Each free tier has a reward.
The Premium Pass costs 300 TEKKEN Coins. After reaching the final tier, you will get 400 Coins: 100 from free tiers and 300 from Premium.
No balance adjustments in TEKKEN 8 Patch 1.12 and 1.13
TEKKEN 30th Anniversary Fight Pass comes with Patch 1.12. If you are interested in the patch notes, you can find them on this official page.
The developers clearly state that there are no balance changes for TEKKEN 8 in this and the following Patches: 1.12 and 1.13. A big update is coming later, with the start of TEKKEN 8 Season 2.
Katsuhiro Harada and other key people in TEKKEN 8 are going to reveal Season 2 details in a special TEKKEN Talk. It’s planned for Feb. 24, 7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. ET. The stream should be similar to the TEKKEN Talk about Heihachi Mishima.

6. Profile backgrounds
Only two profile backgrounds are available in this Fight Pass, but they connect TEKKEN generations. You get a funny-looking old-school Kazuya Mishima and a modern poster.

5. Floating sidekicks
These items are the very definition of cosmetics in TEKKEN 8: sidekicks are amazing and useless. They just float around, watching your failures and successes from a short distance. Sure, sidekicks support wonderful vibes in the fighting matches, and it’s their main power.
In the 30th Anniversary Fight Pass, TEKKEN 8 players can get some really fun sidekicks.

1. Emotes and Fight Cards
The emotes (sprays) and fight cards are arguably the best items in the TEKKEN 30th Anniversary Fight Pass. They are spread across the Free and Premium tiers, and it is a good idea to unlock all of them — for your current and future main characters.
The art pictures have been created by two artists.
- Bkub Okawa. This person is author of most emotes (sprays) and fight cards in the Special 30th Anniversary Fight Pass Round of TEKKEN 8. Check out some examples in the images below.
- Wolf Marker. Some art images by this artist have been converted into TEKKEN 8 fight cards: for example Jin 02 on Free Lvl. 18; and Kazuya 03 on Premium Lvl. 18.
The 30th Anniversary Fight Pass should keep the players busy till Season 2 kicks off in the game and TWT 2025 begins for the competitive community.
