This patch features hitbox adjustments for some characters. The game shop offers pretty awesome costumes, and the Fight Pass Round 7 starts Halloween in TEKKEN 8.
The biggest part of this TEKKEN 8 update is the addition of Armor King, no doubt. The patch is more about fixing unintended behavior caused by character hitboxes.
The cosmetics are pretty nice, especially those in the new Fight Pass. They create the Halloween atmosphere. Also, the progression tiers feature generally good items.
If you are willing to pay a bit more and add costumes to your customization inventory, the TEKKEN 8 2.06.01 patch brings some fun skins to the Shop.

There were no unnecessary rush moves in this TEKKEN 8 update. Patch 2.06.01 is about adjusting hitboxes to make the in-game collisions follow the intended patterns of the game developers.
In addition to this, the game received improvements for visual and sound effects. Some original inputs for King and Lee are back after being disabled in Version 2.0.

Fight Pass Round 7 in TEKKEN 8: Halloween items and more
This part of the 2.06 update is quite exciting. Fight Pass rounds are not too often in TEKKEN 8, and the rewards for unlocking those tiers are unique and interesting.
Like with previous TEKKEN 8 Fight Passes, Round 7 features 30 tiers.
- Free rewards are decent but certainly limited.
- Premium Pass costs 600 TEKKEN coins. If you unlock all the tiers, you receive 700 coins back.
The rewards include some Halloween-themed items.
- Halloween night panel.
- Gothic top hat.
- Single snake eye.
Also, this Fight Pass has some generally great cosmetics. Sure, some of them hint at Armor King, the newest addition to the TEKKEN 8 roster.
- The sticker “You read my mind”.
- Rusty red coat.
- Character illustration, like this one for Leo.
The patch to fix the game and the fight pass to boost activity
In general, the update is more about fixing the earlier disaster, which is the release of Season 2. Like Bandai Namco Entertainment stated earlier, the developers are working on adjustments to add them to the game gradually. Patch 2.06.01 is the next wave of these fixes.
It is unlikely to be an impactful update in terms of battle balance. Still, you should check out what happened to your character.
As for Fight Pass 7, having this extra motivation to grind in TEKKEN 8 is certainly a positive feature for many casual players. The items are certainly good, but the feeling of progressing and an additional push to play the game is even more important.
Jester Packs in TEKKEN 8
Two new costume packs are available in the TEKKEN Shop. Both cost 400 coins and include sets of cosmetic items.

For 100 TEKKEN coins, you can buy Avatar Skin “Armor King”.
The update is bog enough to not expect anything big from the developers until the release of Miary Zo. Her gameplay trailer was shown during the TEKKEN 8 tournament at Evo France 2025.
