Schedule

The EWC 2025 TEKKEN 8 goes on for four days, from Aug. 13 to Aug. 16. The tournament consists of three stages.

  • First Phase, Groups — All 32 players are divided into 8 groups. After a series of double-elimination brackets, the top 2 from each group advance further.
  • Second Phase, Groups — This stage features double-elimination brackets in 4 groups.
  • The top 8 brackets — Single-elimination format, with a third-place match.

Only 16 players remain in this tournament stage, and only half of them make it to the final brackets of the TEKKEN 8 Esports World Cup 2025 event.

Top 8

Unlike many other fighting games esports events, the EWC 2025 features single elimination brackets. Loss in the quarterfinals means elimination. After the semis, winners advance to the grand final, and losers play the third-place match.
