TFT Set 16 combines traits and champions with lore

One of the featured traits in TFT Set 16 is Bilgewater, and with this kind of composition, players earn Silver Serpents each round. Extra Silver Serpents can be gained from takedowns as well. Players can then spend this currency on stats, champions, plus loot from the Black Market.

In terms of Unlockable Champions, one of them is Graves, who is unlocked by itemizing Twisted Fate. The couple works together, with Twisted Fate marking targets and Graves hitting them to gain Attack Speed. Twisted Fate also gains Ability Power for each marked target Graves eliminates.

Players can use the extra Silver Serpents earned to unlock the 5-cost Bilgewater champion, Tahm Kench, as well.

Demacians, meanwhile, gain increased Armor and Magic Resist to rally for powerful bonuses whenever their team loses health. Champions such as Garen, Vayne, Lux, and Xin Zhao are part of this composition.

"You can also play Xin Zhao, and thus Zaahen, with Ionia," according to Julien Camaraza, the lead set of Lore & Legends.

TFT Set 16 traits and champions: Ionia, Ixtal, and Shadow Isles

Speaking of Ionia, Camaraza revealed that TFT Set 16 doesn't include the full Ionia roster, but it does have key champions like Jhin and Sett. The Lore & Legends set then continues to live up to its namesake as players can 3-star Yasuo to unlock his brother Yone. Did you know that Yunara is also making her debut in TFT Set 16?

As for other traits and champions to look out for, the Ixtal trait lets players go on side quests of sorts. Completing these grants useful rewards.

"If you don't complete them, well, better luck next time," Camaraza added. "But, if you're lucky and skilled enough, you could unlock Brock, the giga 7-cost Ixtal. He's less of a unit and more of a living, breathing Nexus Fountain, really."

In terms of the Shadow Isles, Viego can collect Souls. And with both Viego and Yorick on the same team, players can unlock Gwen with 20 Souls, Kalista with 75, and the 5-cost Thresh with 150 of them.
