This TFT patch changes up some Opening Encounter frequencies, removes Chem-Baron Emblems, and features balance updates such as Ekko nerfs and Ambessa buffs.
Riot Games has posted the Teamfight Tactics (TFT) patch 13.5 notes ahead of their release date. Read on for all of the TFT patch 13.5 notes and details.
TFT patch 13.5 release date
Another TFT update draws near. This time, it’s TFT patch 13.5 slated for Feb. 5. According to Riot Games, this patch features changes to Opening Encounter frequencies, removes Chem-Baron Emblems, and includes some balance adjustments.

TFT patch 13.5 notes
In terms of the unit buffs, they’re going to Draven, Cassiopeia, Ambessa, Heimerdinger, and Viktor. Meanwhile, nerfs are going to Urgot, Steb, Ekko, Elise, Caitlyn, and LeBlanc. As for Mundo, he’s being adjusted to scale less with maximum health and to become a stronger pick without the Bruiser Emblem. Prior to the release of the above patch notes, Stephen “Mortdog” Mortimer from Riot Games shared a rundown on his YouTube channel. His patch preview went into the reasoning behind some of the updates.
However, as he mentioned at the start of the video, the preview notes “are subject to change if we find there’s a bug or if something changes after this rundown.” Nonetheless, it’s still interesting to hear what he had to say about it all.
