The TFT Set 16 Tactician's Crown event features 40 of the best players in the world, a TFT Set 17 showmatch, and so much more.

The Tactician’s Crown competition for Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Set 16, Lore & Legends, kicks off soon. In addition to a grand prize of $150,000, this esports tournament hints at what’s next for the game. Read on for everything you need to know about the Lore & Legends Tactician’s Crown event, including the schedule, format, where to catch all of the esports action plus TFT Set 17 preview, and more.

TFT Lore & Legends Tactician’s Crown

Between March 27 and March 29, the world’s top 40 TFT players will battle for the Lore & Legends Champion title. Day 1 will begin at 5 a.m. PT and have the players duke it out in six games across five lobbies.

Only the top 32 players will advance to Day 2, where they’ll duel until only the top 8 players remain. Day 3 will then have these players fight under the checkmate format. As always, the competitors will have to reach 20 points and secure a final win to claim the overall victory.

TFT Set 16 Tactician’s Crown stream

Folks will be able to tune in to the aforementioned streams to win in-game loot such as the Strength Training emote on Day 1, Sneak Around the Corner on Day 2, and Back-to-Back emote on Day 3 as well. These streams will feature broadcast talent such as ClementKChu, Meeix, Nekkra, Jupeson, Cle, and ImpetuousPanda.

TFT Pick’Ems will also be an option for those interested in esports betting. According to Riot Games, folks will be able to make their picks starting March 24.

TFT Set 17 preview

According to Riot Games, the Lore & Legends Tactician’s Crown tournament will include a TFT Set 17 showmatch. This event will happen on Day 3 at 3:15 a.m. PT right before the finals.
