TFT Set 4.5 Revival release date
The TFT Festival of Beasts Revival game mode is slated to arrive sometime during patch 13.4. This patch kicks off on Jan. 23.

TFT Festival of Beasts Revival explained
The TFT Set 4.5 Revival game mode adds chase traits, which aim to bring on the excitement of achieving Prismatic verticals. At the Prismatic level for Cultist, for example, you can summon Galio, the Endbringer. Reaching this level requires careful planning, but the payoff is worth it. Meanwhile, achieving Prismatic Warlord grants you Azir’s powerful soldier wall. As for Mages, they can cast more frequently with increased AP while Fortune features loot galore.

TFT Chosen mechanic explained
As noted, the set mechanic is Chosen, which involves Chosen champions appearing in every fourth shop. You can't buy a new Chosen unit unless you sell your old one — whether it's on the bench or board. When purchased, a Chosen champion arrives at a 2-star level and provides a +1 bonus to one of their traits.
There are some rules to remember, however. They are outlined below.
- When you see a Chosen that you’ve seen before, they will not have the same +1 trait as when you last saw them. For example, if you passed on an Enlightened Talon, the next time you’re offered a Chosen Talon, it will be an Assassin Talon.
- When you pass on a Chosen champion, you won’t see that champion again for a few rounds.
- There must be three copies remaining in the pool for the champ to be able to show up as a Chosen champ. However, your bag size is personal, with the number of units per cost listed below:
- 1 cost: 25
- 2 cost: 25
- 3 cost: 25
- 4 cost: 10
- 5 cost: 9
TFT Set 4.5 Revival gets Augments
Players who remember the original TFT Set 4.5 may also recall that Augments weren't part of it. However, the Set 4.5 Revival features Augments created just for it. Examples include Cult’s Offerings, Divine Zeal, Mother Dragon Breath, Money Sprout, The Tyrannical Warlord, and Executioner's Cut.
- Cult’s Offerings: For every Gold above 40 that you have during planning, Galio permanently gains 5 health, up to 600
- Divine Zeal: When Ascended, Divine units also gain 10% Attack Speed. Gain a Nasus.
- Mother Dragon Breath: After 8 seconds of combat, a Dragon strikes the board, dealing 30% of max Health in magic damage to enemies and granting all allies 12% Attack Speed for the rest of combat. Gain a Tristana and a Braum.
- Money Sprout: When Fortune is active, gain a Money Sprout that helps you in combat or drops gold depending on if it is in the front or back row. Gain a Tahm Kench and Annie.
- The Tyrannical Warlord: At the start of combat, the Warlord who dealt the most damage last combat becomes the Tyrant. The Tyrant gains 25% Damage Amp. Gain a Jarvan IV and a Nidalee.
- Executioner's Cut: Executioner executes enemies below 10% health.
TFT Set 4.5 Revival leaderboard and Lucky Lanterns
Another feature to note is the Skill Tree, which lets players chase after a visionary border. There's also a brand-new leaderboard that incentivizes players to earn points and climb to the top. Finally, remember Lucky Lanterns? This mechanic returns in TFT Festival of Beasts Revival as an Opening Encounter.
