Pack your bags, the 2025 TFT Open is headed to Europe.
Ahead of the Macao Open, Teamfight Tactics and Riot Games announced where the TFT 2025 Open will be held: Paris, France.
2025 Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Paris Open
The location reveal was made by Michael Sherman, Global Head of Esports for Teamfight Tactics (TFT) and 2XKO, as well as the official accounts across social media.
Paris open is the third iteration of the TFT Open Series since 2023, which saw the debut of the recurring LAN event in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year, the event is taking place in Cotai, Macau.
Thus, Paris marks the third continent in the event's three years. While no further details were revealed for the Paris Open, we can assume that it will follow a similar structure to those of its predecessors. This means a short 3-day event can be expected, starting with 512 players, and culminating on the finals day as the best prove themselves worthy of wearing the Tactician's Belt.

Competitive TFT in recent years
The TFT Open Series is a relatively new event for the game, having only begun in 2023. The coveted Tactician's Belt, as well as the lion's share of the prize pool, is on the line.
The inaugural 2023 TFT Vegas Open saw the first bearer of the Belt: Ryan "milala" Lai. He proved himself the best out of all the 512 competitors that year, and is back competing in this year's Macao Open, this time under Fnatic's banner.
That being said, TFT has no shortage of highly-competitive events from officially-sanctioned Riot events to the community organized bootcamps and tournaments. More recently, it was part of the lineup for the 2024 Esports World Cup. This international event saw China's Wolves Esports take home the W after rising to the occasion against the other 15 teams.
The 2024 TFT Macao Open is currently ongoing and will crown the winner on Dec. 15, 2024. Stick around esports.gg for more Teamfight Tactics updates.
