Teamfight Tactics competition across the globe is kicking into high gear ahead of the Monsters Attack! Championship, the TFT Set 8 World Championship. Every region with slots at the Monsters Attack! Championship is hosting tournaments to decide who plays in their respective regional finals. Here's a recap of what happened in those tournaments around the world this past weekend.

Region recap: China (CN)

Multiple tournaments occurred this past weekend in China that have major implications towards qualifying for the Monsters Attack! Championship. Streaming websites Douyu and Huya both sponsored tournaments this past weekend. The top four players in each tournament qualified to China's TFT Open Championship 5 (TOC5) Regional Finals.

The winner of the respective tournaments also received a High Seed at the TOC5 Regional Finals. They will get a bye from the group stage and advance automatically to the Semifinals, which will consist of the Top 16 players at the tournament. Additionally, the NetCafe Grand Finals was held this past weekend. The top three players from this event qualified to the TOC5 Regional Finals as well. Here's a look at the results from these three tournaments.

The top five finishers from the TOC5 Regional Finals will make up the China's representatives at the Monsters Attack! Championship. The TOC5 Regional Finals begins on May 6.

Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA)

Moving over to Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), the Golden Spatula Cup #3 took place this past weekend. The winner, Canbizz, who plays for Karmine Corps, secured a spot in the Rising Legend Finals, EMEA's Regional Finals.

The top four finishers at the Rising Legend Finals will represent EMEA at the Monsters Attack! Championship. The Rising Legend Finals begins on May 12.

Region recap: Japan (JP)

Tournament: East Asian Finals

Day 1 of East Asian Finals for Japan took place on April 16. At the end of Day 1, the eight players who qualified to Day 2 have been decided.

Brazil held a Last Chance Qualifier for their ProLegends Regional Finals. The top four finishers received the final four of 24 slots at the ProLegends Regional Finals.
