Huanmie wins TFT Paris Open 2025
Throughout the competition, Huanmie built on his legacy as one of the most accomplished players in the game's history. He previously became the first player to win the TFT World Champion title China's (CN) region and even earned multiple TFT Asian Cup victories.
At TFT Paris Open 2025, he played both popular and unconventional compositions, adapted his picks, read the lobby tempo, and capped his boards effectively to gain consistent advantages. This, combined with his patience, allowed Huanmie to advance to the finals and win the whole event.
Huanmie's journey to the top
In the post-match interview, Huanmie talked about his journey to the top and the moment he felt that he had it in the bag.
"Safo gave me a lot of pressure early on because he had that Bilgewater on Stage 2," he said, referring to Marc "Safo20" Safont. "But I was very lucky to avoid him the entire stage. My game plan was to go for Mel and Baron Nashor as the max cap, and once I had that Ambessa 2 on Stage 5, I felt relatively comfortable. And when I went to Level 10 and hit Baron 2 almost immediately, I knew that was going to be enough."
He continued, "I feel like today's games were relatively similar to the games before that. Every single game -- everyone was going for the maximum possible cap and no one was trying to just get a certain amount of points."
Huanmie also shared why proving himself to everyone made the victory feel even more meaningful.
"I've had a very good start, and my peak was amazing, but when I was in my valleys at my lowest, I also had a lot of people just stop checking on me and stop caring about me. But this time, I feel like to be able to reclaim that summit -- I have proven myself," he said.

As for parting words, Huanmie encouraged everyone playing TFT to simply have a good time and expressed pride for his region.
"I hope everyone that's playing TFT is going to have a good time," he said. "The CN region has never been bad. In fact, we might have always been the best region."
