Here’s what you should expect in TFT patch 14.2 and when the upcoming changes go live!

TFT Patch 14.2 is a relatively smaller patch compared to 14.1 but brings about notable changes. These include fixing the headliner bugs and rules as well as nerfs to the dominant disco line. You can expect these changes to go live January 24, around 6 a.m. PT in North America. Here's everything you need to know.

TFT patch 14.2 notable systems changes

Portals

  • Silver Symphony and Decrescendo removed
  • Cruel Pact cannot be offered in Radiant Blessing portal

Headliner

  • Fixed the issue that blocked units sharing a trait with previously offered headliners
    • i.e. passing Dazzler Lux would block any Twisted Fates headliners from showing in the next 4 headliner offerings
  • Removed the ability to affect headliner rules through buying and selling headliners

Disco

  • Attack speed per tick reduced from 5/10/15/20% to 5/8/12/20%
  • Healing per tick reduced from 2/3/3/5% to 2/3/3/4%

Mosher

  • Base attack speed increased from 20/40/60% to 20/40/70%

Punk

  • Base HP increased from 170/280/420 to 180/300/450
  • Base attack damage (AD) increased from 17/28/42% to 18/30/45%

K'Sante

  • Ability base damage reduction decreased from 25% to 20%

Yasuo

  • Spell AD% reduced from 300% to 280%

3-cost units

Riven

  • Ability AD% reduced from 100% to 90%

Urgot

  • Deals 50% bonus damage if ability hits 1 target
  • Spell AD% reduced from 175/175/180% to 160/160/165%

Vex

  • Stun duration reduced from 1.5 seconds to 0.75 seconds

4-cost units

Karthus (Rework)

  • Spell will always critically strike if it can
  • Gains bonus ability power (AP) based on critical strike chance at a 1:1 ratio
  • No longer gains mana from kills, but gains 30 AP each cast
  • Mana reduced from 30/120 to 15/105
  • Spell damage reduced from 270/405/900 to 175/260/580

The rework is designed to make Karthus more of a ramping champion than an instantly burst the enemy backline champion.

Twisted Fate

  • Max mana increased from 30/105 to 30/120
  • Card damage reduced from 50/75/225 to 45/70/225

Corki

  • Spell AD% increased from 300% to 320%

Jinx

  • AD increased from 45 to 50

Kennen

  • HP increased from 650 to 700

Lillia

  • Max mana reduced from 70/130 to 70/120

Olaf

  • Now categorized as an AD Fighter
    • Helps with recommended items, random item assignments (Binary Airdrop, Thief's Gloves, etc.)

  • Increased attack speed from 0.85 to 0.9

Katarina

  • Spell damage increased from 140/210/315 to 150/225/340

Kayle (Rework)

  • Deal passive on-hit magic damage at and behind target
  • Active deals stronger AOE damage and applies shred (lower magic resistance)
  • Mana increased from 0/30 to 0/120

3-cost units

Lulu

  • Third cast spell damage increased from 120/180/280 to 150/225/360

Miss Fortune

  • Spell AD% increased from 280/280/290% to 295/295/305%

4-cost units

Ezreal

  • Single target spell AD% increased from 350/350/700% to 370/370/740%
    • Does not affect the third AOE cast from Ezreal's spell

Poppy

  • Ability heal on-hit increased at 3-star from 5% to 10%

5-cost units

Sona (Quality of Life change/Buff)

  • Ethereal (Attack speed) and Concussive (Damage) Sona won't target training dummies and Illaoi tentacles
    • Illaoi tentacles attack/cast at fixed rate (every three seconds)
    • Units damaged by Concussive Sona will now have unit priority since random target can't be a dummy or tentacle
  • Kinetic (Healing) Sona won't use healing auto attacks on training dummies and Illaoi tentacles unless no other ally units are alive
    • Prioritizing units over dummies and tentacles

  • Bonus AD increased from 15% to 25%

Yone

  • Bonus HP decreased from 200 to 150
  • Bonus AD decreased from 20% to 15%

Goldmancer's Staff (Ornn artifact)

  • Gold per drop reduced from 2 to 1

Thief's Gloves

  • Reduced chance to roll ideal item combinations at levels 7, 8, and 9

TFT patch 14.2 augment changes

  • Gold drop chance increased from 30% to 35%

Late Game Specialist

  • Gold increased from 30 to 33

Gold

Bigger Shot

  • Damage increased from 75% to 85%

Heartthrobs (Rework)

  • You gain 20% more Heartsteel Hearts

Last Stand

  • HP granted reduced from 180 to 160
  • Armor/magic resistance (MR) and omnivamp granted reduced from 18 to 16

Submit to the Pit

  • Armor/MR/AP/AD/attack speed increased from 3 to 4

Too Big to Fail

  • HP explosion reduced from 40% to 35%
